World Suicide Prevention Day Walk
Spend time walking along the Grange to Henley Beach esplanade with others who have experienced the suicide of a loved one and then enjoy a cuppa at the Sunnyside Cafe at Henley Beach.

About the Event
World Suicide Prevention Day 2026 is on September 10, 2026, and we're having our annual walk on the following Sunday, the 13th of September. The official theme for 2024–2026 is "Changing the Narrative on Suicide", calling for open conversations, reducing stigma, and prioritizing mental health in public policy.We meet on the foreshore at the end of Terminus Street, Grange, at 9:30 am, and then walk along the foreshore to the Sunnyside Cafe at Henley Beach. If you would prefer not to do the walk, you can meet us at the cafe at 10 am. We have World Suicide Prevention Day ribbons for those who would like to wear one. You are also welcome to bring a photo of your loved one to carry with you.
